Personal note (things in our family's life that I'm capturing along the way): Our 3 oldest kids each play 2 instruments and on Tuesday mornings, my sister-in-law comes to our house to give them private lessons. (Thanks, Carrie!!) They take turns with the order (we talk about it every Monday night, so they know who has to get up first. :) ) Today, it was Tahlia's turn to go first.
Technical note (things I'm learning along the way): Wow! Correct exposure and good lighting makes all the difference. This is pretty close to straight out of camera- no color correction needed, nor brightening. (I only bumped contrast up a tad and brightened her eyes b/c her brows were shadowing them.) Compare her color here to the yucky color of last night's photo, which I had to do a lot of color correcting to even get it that tolerable. This was shot with my Nikkor 35mm f2. ISO 400 ss 1/250 f2
